The United Nations Development Programme (UNDP) is the UN’s global development network and works with countries to help eradicate poverty, and reduce inequalities and exclusion. UNDP also works closely with countries in their efforts to achieve the Sustainable Development Goals.

In June 2007, UN Secretary-General called on all UN agencies, funds and programmes to ‘go green’ and become climate neutral, and since then, the UN has been working hard to monitor, reduce and offset its carbon emissions.

UNDP is amongst some of the top agencies that are leading the way in climate neutrality, having achieved climate neutrality each since 2014. UNDP wanted to develop a poster to communicate this achievement to staff, office visitors and stakeholders. Martineau & Co developed the poster concept as well as created informative content and an eye-catching design.

Martineau & Co has supported UNDP in developing a range of communications materials related to sustainability, from on-line tutorials to posters to go around our headquarter offices. The M&Co team is a pleasure to work with, and their outputs are always creative, engaging and effective.”
